| Well, the ranks are slowly being updated. It's tough without a roll call, so there won't be much promotion yet. On a side note, the ranks are a palcement. The descriptions below are just general ideas, but are not exactly what the rank is. Think of it as leadership placement order, rather than following the technical wording.

Game Ranks
General - Administrative Position
Lieutenant General - Administrative Position
Major General - Administrative Position
*Game Generals are administrative positions that are not normally actively participating in the specific games. They are responsible for making sure the clan rules and regulations are being followed, as well as resolve any problems or concerns other game officials may have in addition to mediating any internal conflicts within the game’s members.
Colonel - Regiment Commander (BBFX, FPS, RTS, MMO, ect.)
Lieutenant Colonel - Company Commander (Game Commander)
First in command over game, and has the final say over what happens in his/her game. Is a member of the COB. Reports any concerns or recommendations to the CLB. Is responsible for moral and rule enforcement as well as roll calls and reports. Can promote up to Major and present awards. In the absence of individual Units, the CC is responsible for maintaining the game roster and roster system. Is the moderator of their games various message board sections, and is responsible for their organization and contents.
Major – Executive Officer (Game-CoCommander)
Helps lead individual game as second in command. Is responsible for moral and rule enforcement as well as enforcing the recruiting program. Reports any concerns or recommendations to the COB and CLB, and can gain access to the COB. Can present awards. Can accept recruits and promote up to Corporal alone, or to Lieutenant with approval of the CC or RC. (XO has all responsibilities of the Company Commander their absence, and all the responsibilities of the Platoon Leader in absence of such a position.)* Not all games will have a XO. Typically a game made up of several Platoons will not have a XO, but Platoon Leaders who will take up the XO responsibilities for their respective Platoon.
Captain - Platoon Leader
The Platoon Leader is responsible for the productivity of their platoon. Manages and maintains the Platoons Game Roster and Roster system. Schedules clan matches, practices, scrimmages, and meetings. Leads meetings for their specific Platoon. Does member performance evaluations when requested and submits to CC, RC or CLB. Can promote members up to the Lieutenant positions. Reports any problems to the CC or RC, and can gain access to the COB. Enforces recruiting and training program. (Always has all other responsibilities as Lieutenant; as well has all responsibilities of Major in the absence of such a position) *Not all games will be divided into separate units and have a PL.
First Lieutenant - Squad Leader (Game Captain)
In-game Squad leader (game Captain) who knows and develops game strategies. Can Schedule clan matches, practices and meetings. Has the responsibility of making sure a proper team/squad can be fielded before accepting or issuing a clan match. When there is no designated squad, the First Lieutenant is responsible for assembling a squad for competition in clan matches. Is responsible for communications to opposing teams and understanding of the game rules and conditions. Is responsible for posting match results. Is responsible for polling players of a clan match for the match MVP, and recording the winner under the proper match record. Enforces training program and represents the clan in an honorable fashion. Heads meetings in absence of a higher-ranking officer. Can accept recruits and promote up to Corporal alone, or to Sergeant with approval of PL, CC, or RC.
Second Lieutenant - Second Squad Leader (Game Co-Captain)
In-game Squad leader (game co-captain) who knows and develops game strategies. Schedules clan matches and practices. Assembles a team/squad for competition in clan matches. Enforces training program and represents the clan in an honorable fashion. Can accept recruits as a Private. (Has all responsibilities of the First Lieutenant in their absence, with the exception of recruitment and promotions.)
Master Sergeant
Veteran Players, experienced with the game, company, and clan. Aids in the development and testing of game strategies. Enforces training program and leads practices in absence of higher ranked officers. Represent the clan in an honorable fashion and refers possible recruits to Captain and higher ranked officers
Sergeant
Seasoned Players, knowledgeable to the game, company, and clan. Aids in the testing of new game strategies. Represent the clan in an honorable fashion and refers possible recruits to Captain and higher ranked officers. Can lead practices in absence of higher ranked officers.
Corporal
Normal Player, familiar with the game and the company.
Private First Class
Beginning Player, new to the game and the company.
Private
New Player to the game, company, and clan; is in a probationary training position.

*Key- Probationary Position=Yellow, Enlisted Position=Blue, Officer Position=Orange, Administrative Position=Purple
The ranks of Major and Captain are optional rankings that are only applicable in large clan games with many members. Many games will not have these ranks and the ranking Lieutenant Colonel (Company Commander) for that game will have those responsibilities. Normally, Games divided up into separate Platoons will have a Captain (Platoon Leader) for each unit. These games typically will not have a Major (Executive Officer). Conversely, some games that large enough to need extra leadership help, but not large enough to break into separate Units, will have a Major but no Captains.
