Yep, and in anticipation of the banner from Atrum this weekend I've posted your adjoining background for this banner...to give some idea how the site will feel when completed. Just matching the background and banner here looks amazing...wait until we're doing the real one!!

Those are actually both very good Thunder. If it were for the fact that we'd already come to a consensus on what we wanted to do, I'd certainly consider taking the bottom banner for our own. One thing I have noticed from looking at the PC site is their vast collection of wallpapers they've created (and yes some for XBOX as well). It's pretty amazing. What I would like to have once this site is live is perhaps a wallpaper section so we can truly show off the talents of the Xbox members like yourself.

Infact, I think I'll rally for a section on the old site as well then pull those over as things develop.

Sounds good to me.

Can we get rid of the "candy stripes" within the sub-forums. The main forum page looks good (all gray). but if you click on "Gallery" for example it turn gray and green alternating. Doesn't look good to me. Anyone else agree? Or is it just me?

yeah...that's just you bro! The alternating post colors is what makes it kickass..
If it were one solid color time and again we'd look like just another boring run-of-the-mill forum..

Good job Thunder but this setup could look much better if it had a matching background instead of the boring green background.
